Reflection note

  In this semester I’ve experienced a new type of studying a writing course. During our classes we didn’t have any books and notebooks. We did all our work in our blogs. I think that blogs are convenient enough for the type of tasks we did. Besides, it gave me an opportunity to see other students’ works. It was really helpful.  Blogs have some disadvantages as well. Sometimes, I had problems with access to my group mates’ pages. In the beginning of this term it was difficult to us to get used to blogs and new type of work at all. Because of it we sometimes didn’t do many tasks during our classes. I think we would be able to do more exercises next semester. During our writing course we worked with “The Guardian”. I consider this newspaper a very interesting and useful source. That’s why I’d like to work with it in the next semester. Natalia Yurievna told us about “The Citation Machine” and some sites for shortening our links. It was useful for me and, I suppose, for my peers too. This semester we wrote a couple of summaries. I think it was useful and interesting. One of the most important things we did was writing a five-paragraph essay. I think we should keep working on it and improve our skills. This is my opinion on the past semester. At our next classes I'd like to talk more about science and friendship.
