Film review
"Forrest
Gump" by Robert Lee Zemeckis
"Life
is like a box a chocolate, you never know what your going to get"
One of my
favourit films is "Forrest Gump". This is a
film about a weak-minded person - Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) - who becomes an
outcast in society. Because of his innocence and kindness, he often does not
even understand that some people use it for their own purposes. But he does not
give up. Ironically, Gump is involved in many famous world historical events.
He personally meets with the presidents of the United States, intersects with
celebrities on various talk shows and at the same time tries to just be himself
... He achieves so much just because he do what he consider is necessary
without thinking about the consequences.
It is very
sad that most people cannot see a real person in stupid Forrest. They scoff at
him, insult, laugh. But there are still people who make people like Forrest not
feel deprived. The film shows true love and values.
The
director very well conveys the characters of the characters. It is impossible
not to empathize with them. Great play of actors, great camera work, smooth
storytelling and fun life of the Gump ... What else do you need for a good
evening?
